Reviews and Ratings <br />
Our stay at the hotel was quite an adventure. We loved the vintage charm and exciting historical character of the place, and the staff was genuinely helpful. However, we faced some challenges with the room size and maintenance. The dining options were also pretty decent, but could use some improvement in service. Overall, it was a memorable experience, but I ended up expecting a bit more given the hotel's reputation.
I recently stayed at the Galvez, and it was a delightful getaway with a few bumps along the way. While the hotel has a charming, historic character and the staff mostly provided excellent service, there was a minor issue with rudeness from the pool staff. The dining, especially during brunch, was a highlight, but the limited space in the rooms made them feel a bit cramped. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would happily return, hoping for an even better experience next time.
While the hotel boasts a beautiful exterior and a rich history, my experience was mixed. I enjoyed the luxurious brunch and the engaging history tours, which added to the appeal. Unfortunately, the noise from neighboring rooms made it hard to relax, and the overall maintenance left something to be desired for the price. It's a bit disappointing considering the beautiful architecture.
My experience at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. While the historical character and decor added charm, the room was rather small and not as comfortable as I'd hoped. The service varied, with some staff being very helpful, but others seemed distracted. The facilities were nice, but I expected more for the price I paid.
I had a lovely time at the hotel, especially enjoying the exceptional spa services and the luxurious Sunday brunch. However, the room was quite small and there was an issue with stale smoke odor in the carpet, which detracted from the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the rich history of the hotel and the relaxing environment it offered.
